Sad bobcat story

Dead bobcat in our front yard. I had seen it alive when I was leaving for work on my bike in the morning. I assumed it was a domestic cat that had decided to take a nap in our yard. Cats are like that. When I returned home from work, I realized that it was a dead bobcat. Surely, it was hit was hit by a car then limped off to die. My theory is that all the recent "development" around here had usurped some of its habitat and it was trying out some new places to hunt, scavenge.


I buried it in the back yard.
