What kinds of products do the vending machines offer?
Soft drinks, tea, coffee, beer, instant noodles, eggs (!), cheap brandy, cigarettes, condoms. What's amazing is not so much what they sell, but their very ubiquity. In Japan, in the middle of nowhere there is surely a Coke machine.
