I'm thinking it was an SG copy, just like yours was a Telecaster copy (w/ top and bottom tuning pegs). Those were the days! I had a nice Les Paul that I ran over with a car. Take that, Peter Townsend. Kenny let me borrow the Strat for a few months while he was in Cali, if my memory serves. I wailed on that thing. My second Les Paul was stolen during my most recent move.
It was an SG copy, I found the words WAGO from a Dodge powerwagon truck and it fit perfect on the guitar so I glued it on. Everyone asked about the brand WAGO....hehehehehe. I traded the SG copy for the 1974 Strat and still have it :)
